The Fukuoka Kitakyushu Data Center and Fukushima Shirakawa Data Center are being constructed to meet the scale of demand with 1 module for 1 building, and we have secured an area that can be expanded to a vast site and the necessary electric power. We have urban Data Centers in the Tokyo Metropolitan and Kansai areas, allowing customers to select the location that best suits their needs. We also have suburban Data Centers in Kyushu, Tohoku, and other parts of Japan.
Locations across east and west Japan allow for the physical distribution of systems and the diversification of power providers, enabling customers to select the strengths of each location, such as connectivity between the Internet and Data Centers, as well as use for business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR).

In addition to physical data distribution, such as backup sites and Data Center redundancy, the Fukuoka Kitakyushu Data Center and Fukushima Shirakawa Data Center (*), whose locations are considered to have a very low probability of a major earthquake occurring in Japan, also help to reduce the risk in the event of a major disaster by enabling power suppliers to be decentralized.

* Compared to the 3 major metropolitan areas of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, the probability of an earthquake measuring lower 6 or more on the Japanese seismic intensity scale in the next 30 years is very low. Moreover, according to the Kitakyushu City Disaster Prevention Information Map (published by Planning Division of Kitakyushu City Construction Bureau), the risk of natural disasters such as river flooding and landslides is low in this area.

It is located in the Level 1 area, which is the lowest risk area on the hazard map (*) established by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and is resistant to earthquakes with a seismic intensity of upper 6 due to its seismic isolation structure.
